Announcements & Reminders
COVID-19 UPDATE: Aikido classes at the D.R. Semmes YMCA are expected to begin again soon for folks 12 and older that are willing to disclose a Full Covid vaccination status as it is preferred for indoor training at this time. Masks are optional for close partner training and requires the consent of both partners prior to engagement. Class size will be limited to 12 per class and a registration process will be required to avoid overcrowding as we get our programs back up and running. Please check back soon for announcements as the situation continues to develop.
Registration must be done at the front desk of the YMCA.
Membership is autodrafted; there is no need for renewal each month.
You do not need to be a Y member to register for aikido.
The Y will scale membership dues based on income.
Try your first class for free!
Visitors are also always welcome to sit in and watch a class.
Visitors from other dojos are always welcome! Please contact Dojo-Cho for details on how to visit us at the Y.
Remember to check the USAF website for any upcoming regional seminars!
